GOD IS A GARDENER

God is a gardener.

Then God planted a garden in Eden, in the east.
He put the Man he had just made in it.
Genesis 2:9

God took the Man and set him down
in the Garden of Eden to work the ground
and keep it in order.
Genesis 2:15

When they heard the sound
of God strolling in the garden
in the evening breeze,
the Man and his Wife hid
in the trees of the garden,
hid from God.
Genesis 3:8

So throw all spoiled virtue
and cancerous evil in the garbage.
In simple humility, let our gardener, God,
landscape you with the Word,
making a Salvation-Garden of your life.
James 1:21

My teaching, let it fall like a gentle rain,

my words arrive like morning dew,
like a sprinkling rain on new grass,
like spring showers on the garden.
Deuteronomy 32:2

Make sure no one gets left out of God's generosity.
Keep a sharp eye out for weeds of bitter discontent.
A thistle or two gone to seed
can ruin a whole garden in no time.
Hebrews 12:15

God is a gardener.
