Nature Connects:  LEGO Brick Sculptures
Exhibit:  June 1 - September 29, 2013

Water Platter and KoiNature Connects is open during regular Garden hours and will include educational activities and special performances, such as a hands-on LEGO® brick building station, LEGO® design competitions, storytelling, discovery stations that explore how animals build in nature, live performances by Dino O’Dell and Paul Mesner Puppets and more.

Our Friends of the Gardens' membership pass gives us the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the gardens year-round.

 was anxious to see how 500,000 LEGO® plastic bricks would "connect with nature" at Powell Gardens.  

The 27 amazing sculptures and 14 incredible displays celebrate the connections with fun, color and an amazing network of intricate designs.

It's difficult to pick just one favorite sculpture.

About the Artist, Sean Kenney...a self-described "professional kid"...

Artist, Sean Kenney,  hopes that after seeing his sculptures, children will become inspired to create great things themselves.  His exhibit, Nature Connects:  LEGO Brick Sculptures, at Powell Gardens is sure to appeal and inspire all ages.
