Telling Untold Stories in Photographs, Prose and Public Speaking

Powell Gardens, a not-for-profit botanical garden, east of Kansas City, Missouri, boasts that it's possible to see as many as 500 butterflies at any one time during the 2013 Festival of Butterflies...including 20 species from the American tropics, and fascinating moths from around the world.
Here are some of my favorite photos of my stroll through
the Butterfly Conservatory, the Butterfly Breezeway,
the Perennial Garden and Wildflower Meadow...
during the 2013 Festival of Butterflies at Powell Gardens.
