Grow Snowballs That Don't Melt!

Old Fashioned Snowball Bush
Viburnum

My friend, Janice, gave me a snowball bush several years ago.  I  liked it so well that I transplanted it at our house when we moved.

The old fashioned snowball bush (viburnum) flourishes for weeks in the spring.  It is literally covered with big white "snowball" clusters and bright green leaves.

I like to pose my children and grandchildren near the snowballs each spring.  It's fun to see how big the bush, and the children have grown.

My snowball bush is featured on one of my Storyteller greeting cards.

Snowball bushes make excellent informal hedges, and attract birds.   They prefer full sun, but will tolerate light shaded areas.

I   dream of an interactive display: a "hands-on experience" with my garden photos with photos on canvas lining the walls, and also photos "under glass" (snowball blossoms on the ground) inset into a real bridge; and front-to-back tall rectangular canvases standing up by the bridge (trees and garden views).

Imagine!

Folks could take their own photos posing beside the "garden of photos."
