WINTER'S TALE
A Movie
Released on Valentine's Day,
February 14, 2014
Why didn't I see any advertisements for the movie, WINTER'S TALE?
Maybe the studio didn't advertise because of unkind movie reviews...so I'll spread the word.
Go see "Winter's Tale."

Ignore the reviews, and make up your own mind.
I do not agree with icy reviews of the movie that say: "Implausible, corny 'Winter's Tale' melts in its own sweet syrup."
and I like Russel Crowe and Colin Farrell.
The romance between Peter Lake (played by Colin Farrell) and Beverly (played by Jessica Brown Findlay) is the stuff dreams are made of. Jessica Brown Findlay is positively iridescent.
The uncredited role as the devil is played by Will Smith. Smith (as Lucifer) confronts Crowe, who plays a crime boss and demon.
This is the way my daughter, Faith, and I remember one of the quotes. I think the actual quote is something pretty close to this....
"We're losing, you know," the crime boss/demon says to Lucifer. "This thought should chill your blood. Despite how many people we turn dark, they still have the capacity to HOPE."
The film marks the directorial debut of Academy Award®-winning screenwriter Akiva Goldsman (A Beautiful Mind), who also wrote the screenplay, based on the acclaimed novel by Mark Helprin.
