BLESSINGS THROUGH TEARDROPS

BLESSING

Something promoting or contributing
      to happiness, or prosperity

Are you blessed?

How do you define blessing?

Singer and songwriter, Laura Story, asks questions about blessings in a song on her new album.

What if your blessings come through teardrops?
What if your healing comes through tears?
What if a thousand sleepless nights are what it takes to know you're near?
What if trials of this life are your mercies in disguise?

God has also blessed Krystalle and her family "through teardrops and tears."

Krystalle and her husband, Steve, learned  in 2012, the baby girl Krystalle was carrying was dead.
They named the baby, Gracia.
As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother's womb, so you cannot understand the work of God the Maker of all things.                 Ecclesiastes 11:5  Copyright 2012 Krystalle Wheeler
    Here is an excerpt
from Krystalle's blog, "God Chose Gracia."

"I don't understand His ways. I have been dreading today. The luggage is packed to head for the hospital and I don't want to go. I keep telling myself what I told myself in April and what I told Ben the day he buried his wife and daughter. Today is necessary and that doesn't make this any less painful. It's necessary to remove Gracia from my womb. It's necessary to grieve. It's necessary to bury her. But it's still very painful. But it's something that the Lord has asked me to walk through. And because I believe that I know that He will be walking with me. Sweetly guiding me, using His people to pray for me, encourage me and cry with me."

"I have been eager to share details of Gracia's delivery, graveside service and open house but He has made it clear that I am to brag on Him first. Which honestly comes with ease. Psalm 40:3 it says that He will put a new song on my mouth and He did just that. After a wonderful whirlwind at Gracia's open house Thursday night I came home and couldn't stop singing. Praise after praise. Even though I allowed my mind to think, 'Okay, this is odd. I buried my daughter today and here I am belting out worship songs.' I still sang. He put a new song on my mouth."

"God has developed my testimony

into a unique story that can't be distorted.

A story that can not be forgotten.

A story that I get to share with generations to come."

Peace baskets (3 photos)

Lullaby of Hope offers mothers a peace basket that contains: Book of Hope, Pearls4Girls bracelet, balancing tea, a key chain for Dad and a card. Baskets can be delivered locally or mailed.

Before sending a mother a basket one of us contacts the mother to make sure she is open to the idea. If she is interested in talking, we arrange a time to bring them the basket and talk. Some mothers may not be ready to talk and in those cases we can mail them the basket or get it to a friend or family member and let them deliver it to the mom.

Each basket has the same ingredients but is made uniquely after we pray for that mother. One of us will prepare the basket and in the card include a verse and prayer for the mother. No verse is the same and each card is hand picked!

 About  Lullaby of Hope

Mission
Lullaby of Hope is a picture of God the Father singing a song of hope over his broken-hearted daughters (Zephaniah 3:17). Our goal is to meet the practical and spiritual needs of the Mom's as they mourn. We believe that ultimate healing can only take place if you choose to turn to Jesus. God promises to turn our mourning into joyful dancing and to clothe us in gladness (Psalm 30:11).

KRYSTALLE'S STORY
At my 20 week sonogram, I was told that my daughter was dying. It was hard to accept her impending death, but I found much comfort in knowing that God does not make mistakes. He chose Gracia, just as He chose me. At almost 24 weeks gestation, her condition worsened and her heart stopped. I delivered her quietly December 9, 2012. God used her life to change mine and He refined me ... See More
