RECIPES: BAKED POTATO BAR and SUNDAY SPECIAL BAKED CHICKEN

Here are recipes 
       for two of my favorite foods 
                 baked potatoes and baked chicken!

  RECIPE:  
BAKED POTATO BAR

Baked Potatoes make a great side dish
and with multiple additional ingredients -
a Baked Potato Bar can make an entire meal

Yummy!  Loaded Baked Potato!

Wash and SCRUB large baking potatoes, and pierce them with a fork before wrapping them in aluminum foil.  Copyright 2014 Marcia Norwood
 
Add butter and seasoning salt and wrap potatoes in aluminum foil.  Copyright 2014 Marcia Norwood
   
Add foil-wrapped potatoes in  baking pan, or put potatoes directly on the oven racks.  Copyright 2014 Marcia Norwood

BAKE potatoes in preheated oven at 425 degrees for one hour.  Copyright 2014 Marcia Norwood

 RECIPE:  
SUNDAY SPECIAL BAKED CHICKEN



Gather Ingredients:
Chicken Breasts
Flour
Salt
Cooking Oil
Sour Cream
Bacon-Flavored Bits
Orange Marmalade
Maple Syrup

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
 COAT chicken breasts with a mixture of flour and salt.
  • 3 Whole Chicken Breasts, (Cut-in-Half)
  • 1/3 CUP Flour
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt

BROWN chicken breasts on all sides
 in  1/2 CUP hot cooking oil in a 10-inch skillet over medium heat.

REMOVE chicken from the skillet when it is brown.

PLACE browned chicken in a 13x9x 2 inch baking pan.

COMBINE the following ingredients in a separate bowl, and MIX WELL:
  • 1/2 CUP Dairy Sour Cream
  • 3/4 CUP Bacon-Flavored Bits
  • 2/3 CUP Orange Marmalade
  • 1/3 CUP Maple Syrup

BRUSH mixture over chicken.

BAKE in 350 degree F. oven for 45-minutes, or until a fork can be inserted  with ease.

Makes 6 servings.
