Kansas City ROYALS

won the first World Series championship

by the Royals since 1985,

and 800,000 fans showed up

in downtown Kansas City for the party.

Kansas City has 467,000 people, and 800,000 ROYALS Fans from the KC Metro area packed the city on November 3, 2015, to salute the World Series Champion Kansas City ROYALS.

Our local milk company, SHATTO MILK, rolled out a royal blue milk as a tribute to the ROYALS during the World Series.

Some of my family and friends were among the 800,000, and I'm proud to share their photos with you of this proud moment in Kansas City history.

Filmmaker Spike Lee is a New York Yankee's fan, but he isn't a ROYALS fan. Lee wanted the New York Mets to win the World Series.

Lee said: “You can be a Yankee fan and be happy the Mets are in the World Series,” he said. “I want the Mets to win. Who’s in Kansas City?”
