Those lovely scented paper sachets at the stores
always find a place in my shopping basket.
They are wonderful additions to closets, drawers, and cars.
Their scent never seems to last very long,
so I decided to make my own.
I used scrapbook paper to create unique,
homemade gifts for a women's retreat,
and also for birthday gifts.

Sachet
A sachet (/ˈsæʃeɪ/ SA-shay; from the French sachet, meaning little bag) or packet is a small disposable bag or pouch,
- Scrapbook Paper
- Envelope Template (See template below, or click on links, or just open an envelope that you have, and trace it for your pattern.)
- Corn-on-the cob Holders (I used these to prick scrapbook paper and add designs.)
- Cutting Board (I put the cutting board under the scrapbook paper as I pierce the paper with the corn holders.)
- Scissors
- String or Ribbon (Your Choice)
- Charms or Buttons
- Dried Flowers (I used lavender from my garden.)
- Fill Sachet With: Vermiculite + Essential Oil and Potpourri (Add essential oil to vermiculite and mix with potpourri. Vermiculite acts as a fixative to hold the scent of the oil. Vermiculite is available where garden supplies are sold.)

Make up your own designs for the piercing pattern,
or pierce the paper along the designs of the scrapbook paper.
Chocolate is always a great gift,
and the pierced paper gives the chocolate bar a personal flair!
