Missouri River Trail:

Weston Bend State Park is a 0.3 mile out and back trail

located near Weston, Missouri.

The trail is primarily used for hiking & walking and is accessible year-round.

McCormick is the oldest distillery in the United States operating at it original site. In 1976, it was listed on the National Register

of Historic Sites. Lewis and Clark discovered natural limestone springs in the rolling hills of Missouri. By 1830 these pure springs were supplying water to wagon trains heading west. Years later Ben Holladay saw these limestone springs as the ingredient for great whiskey needed to supply the vast number of wagon trains passing through Weston desiring good whiskey. In 1856 he started his distillery. The tours at the distillery were discontinued in 1995.

The McCormick Country Store was relocated to Main Street and sells all McCormick products and gift items;
a 25¢ sample bar for customers over 21 years of age.

stay, shop, dine, enjoy music, and have fun in the Midwest.

On exhibit on a rotating basis over 200 masterworks of French silk tapestry based on works by major artists primarily of the 19th and 20th century.

This is the most important and extensive exhibition of woven silk tapestry ever shown in the world. These tapestries are considered the most beautiful tapestries in existence.

The parking lot at the Weston train depot
is a potential gold mine for development.

If it was possible -
I would develop this parking lot area:
add one or two or three rail cars, and a caboose -
for an ice cream shop, deli, and game station.

The West Bluffs Trail is a great destination place
to host special corporate walks and races (like a 5K)
to benefit non-profits, and for corporate team building.

I also dream for Weston...
a large parking place/transit station
(perhaps near I-435 or 45 Highway)
where patrons can park their cars,
and board quaint transportation (trolley?!)
to take visitors inside the city and to destinations near Weston,
like Snow Creek and the Missouri River Trail.
