SEEK AND SAVE THE LOST

Mary Marcia

Please join me in prayer for  my granddaughter, Megan, and for all children who are lost.

Megan ran away from her home on April 8, 2016.
She may be living with a boyfriend and his family (who we do not know) near Milton and New Columbia, Pennsylvania.

The police now are rendered impotent  to bring home Megan, and any other 16 and 17 year old because the hands of the police are tied by a bad law that gives adult rights to children, and requires their parents to pay for their runaway lifestyle.  This law needs to be changed.

Nothing is impossible with GOD, who is able to seek and to save those who are lost.

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for the ways you are moving to fight the evil law that gives adult rights to children. Thank you for equipping us for the battle. We trust You to bring all we need to fight emotionally, physically, spiritually and in the court of law.

Turn the hearts of judges and attorneys and parents and people in the press and congress and courts and governments and police and sheriffs, and people from all walks of life to join us in this fight to cast down a bad law that says 15, 16 and 17 year old juveniles  are adults.

Turn the hearts of the children to you, LORD. Choke out the voices of all who have beguiled and enslaved our children. Let a light of HOPE and salvation and LOVE spring forth and take root in each child who is enslaved by rebellion and sin. Let them "come to their senses" and return home.

Let justice reign in our nation, and let forgiveness and love reign in our hearts, and equip us with a nation of people who will bind ourselves together to create and operate places to treat the heart, mind, soul and bodies of the lost.

Equip us LORD, with a task force who will to search for and capture the lost children.  Give this task force legal sanctions to seek and to save the lost.  The police now are rendered impotent  to bring home 16 and 17 year olds  because their hands are tied by a bad law that gives adult rights to children, and requires their parents to pay for their runaway lifestyle.

I humbly but boldly ask that you give us all the manpower and the resources and funds for this task force to seek and to save the lost.  I can see their uniforms now, LORD: something in black with red on the logo and a white cross.

IN JESUS NAME I PRAY.
Amen

I returned from a three day trip to the HACWN writer's conference in 2009, and Megan (then 10 years old) met me at the door.  She dragged a suitcase behind her filled with notepads, notebook paper, pencils, pens and yellow highlighters.

"I'm a writer, too," she announced.  "I'm writing a story about my life for a contest at school."

Megan wrote her story, entitled, "My Life - W.O.W."  It was one of the winners at her public school, Cordill Mason, in Blue Springs, Missouri.

I edited (shortened) Megan's story, and submitted it to to an editor from Focus on the Family that I met at the HACWN conference.

Megan's article was published in the September 2010 edition of CLUBHOUSE Magazine.

"Just do it afraid."
Megan Jewell Norwood

It's true.  Megan almost died the day she was born, and   she has had life-saving blood transfusions for her entire life:  14 years now.

"What a Friend We Have in Jesus" remains Megan's favorite hymn.  I still sing it to her - although  she now prefers to listen to
1 D.

Granddaughters:  Emily Grace and Megan Jewell.  We like to call them "Thelma & Louise."
God is writing an amazing story in Megan's life, as He  refines her through trials and triumphs.

She is artistic, brave, and ornery, and one of the best friends any person or animal could hope for.
