Sunday morning during praise and worship at Abundant Life Church, I sat down while everyone else stood up.

I closed my eyes, lifted my hands in praise, and heard the songs of praise fill the air around me.

One voice in particular stood out.

It was the lady behind me.

We were seated in the balcony and the seats are on a gradual incline, so this lady was standing over me as I sat in my chair.

She was literally singing over me.

What an illustration of the WORD of GOD that tells us GOD will rejoice over you with singing.

Zephaniah 3:17

"The LORD your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing."

"For the LORD your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs."

I forgot to bring a bag to collect things like acorns, leaves and pebbles.

Help me remember that next time.

If we see something (bird, tree or plant) that we don't recognize, we'll research it when we get home.

Maybe we'll see something we've never noticed before.
