may not get you a lot of friends,
but it will always get you
the right ones.

I don't need to lie,
but sometimes
I like to give the truth
and extreme makeover.

If it is not right - do not do it.
If it is not true - do not say it.

"I love my four children and four grandchildren.
They are adorable, beautiful, hilarious,
and just plain fun to be around.
I taught them to tell the truth.
I never had to teach any of my kids to lie.
Lying comes naturally to all humans.
It's a part of our sinful nature.
It's standard equipment
that my precious babies and I were born with."

Mary Kay Cosmetics sales rep.
Mary Kay gave each of us
in attendance at the convention
two charms:
one small shovel and one larger shovel.
Mary Kay explained:
"This is to remind you
that you can NEVER out-give God.
You give to others out of a small shovel,
but God always gives to you
out of a bigger shovel."
