Chocolate Bar Covers
Hershey's milk chocolate bar
is one of my favorite treats!
I found the best price for
chocolate bars at Hy-Vee grocery store.
A pack of six bars sells for $3.98.
The dollar stores wanted from
75 cents up to 85 cents per chocolate bar.

Dracula Chocolate Bar Cover
Download the templates.
Print template on colored paper of your choice.
I used purple (standard, 20 pound) paper for Dracula.
Cut out Dracula.
Glue on wiggle eyes.
Add tape to the back of the candy bar,
or add tape to the inside (middle section) of Dracula
to keep the chocolate bar from falling out.
Add stickers, ribbon or string
and wrap around Dracula's wings.
How cute!
What fun to give as a Halloween treat!
(Oops! I signed the inside of Dracula
with a permanent marker,
and some black shows through to the outside.)
Bat Chocolate Bar Cover
I cut scrapbook paper
(orange and black on one side, and white on the back)
the same size as standard paper,
(so it would fit in my Kodak Easyshare printer) --
and printed the template for the bat
on the backside of the scrapbook paper.
SUPPLIES
I purchased:
black (65 pound) cardstock paper
(50 sheets for under $4)
and
wiggle eyes (glue-on and stickers)
and
black, orange and purple ribbon
at Michael's Craft Store.
Use a white crayon,
or white chalk
to draw around template,
and add mouth, fang , and ear details.
I will add a white outline to the wings
(with the white crayon)
on the next bat I make,
so the design shows up better
when the wings are folded.
He is pretty cute, though....
don't you think?
Personalize chocolate bar covers
by adding names to the wings
with letter stickers or
write names with a white crayon or chalk.
Companies could add a
personalized greeting on a sticker or label,
and add them to the chocolate bar covers.
