that reaches earth
from the MOON,  
consisting mostly of 
sunlight
with some 
starlight
and earthlight
reflected 
from those portions 
of its surface 
which the sun's light 
strikes.

Midnight - not a sound from the pavement.

Where were you in the 60's when BLUE MOON was a hit?  

I was a Senior at Liberty High School
in Liberty, Missouri, in 1967.   
We slow-danced to BLUE MOON at the
Friday night dances at the dance hall above the
Mattingly's Five & Dime Store
on the square in Liberty, Missouri.
